Membership Levels

Group Leader

A Group Leader​ is someone who may train informally with friends or a small group of paying students and wants to lead developing them using one of the most advanced self-defense systems available. You can become Core JKD Group Leader-Certified, including testing via long distance in this option. Group Leaders can be certified and test in Core JKD, Rebel Wing Chun, and CJKD Weapons.

Instructor

Instructor level is for individuals who have Group Leader-Certified status and wish to become an Instructor in the Core JKD Method and curricula. These individuals may wish to have a formal school—or who already have an established school. Instructor level material allows them to train to be certified as an Instructor in Core JKD, Rebel Wing Chun, and/or CJKD Weapons. They will also have the path to advancing their own students to test via distance collaboration with Shaun Rudie via telepresence.

Affiliate

Affiliate level is for those who have an Affiliate membership with Core JKD and trains and teaches the Core JKD curriculum and methodology. Affiliate schools are guided by a Core JKD certified Instructor and can train students for certification. They are also represented on CoreJKD.com and are publicized in various ways on the site and on our world-known Core JKD YouTube channel as well as through our Facebook presence. They also profit as affiliates from sales of our training videos and are a referral source for people wishing to train in the Core JKD methods.
